We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated A-Level Chemistry Teacher to join our vibrant international school located in Ningbo City, China. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about inspiring students and delivering a high-quality education in the field of Chemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to A-Level students, preparing them for their examinations, and helping them achieve their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in Chemistry.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
• Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and by their organization of learning resources and the classroom learning environment.
• Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
• Participate in department and school meetings, parent meetings.
• Continuously update professional knowledge and expertise as appropriate to keep up to date with developments in teaching practice and methodology, particularly in Chemistry.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with the structure and demands of the A-Level Chemistry curriculum.
• Ability to foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and enthusiasm.
• Experience working in a multicultural or international school environment is highly desirable.
