Modern Instrumental Music Teacher

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Modern Instrumental Music Teacher to join our High School faculty in Beijing starting February 2025. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students, cultivate their musical talents, and foster a deep appreciation for modern instrumental music.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons focused on drums, keyboard, guitar, or bass.
  • Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and emphasize creativity, technique, and musical expression.
  • Teach students practical skills, music theory, and performance techniques.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment where students can develop their musical abilities and confidence.
  • Organize and lead music ensembles, performances, and school concerts.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and grades.
  • Participate in school meetings, events, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music, Performing Arts, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following instruments: drums, keyboard, guitar, or bass.
  • At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience in modern instrumental music.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Must meet visa application requirements.

  • Competitive monthly salary of ¥30,000-¥35,000.

  • Rent is fully covered by the school.
  • Utility bills (e.g., water, electricity, heating) and the rental deposit are borne by the teacher. The rental deposit is refundable upon vacating the apartment, subject to the school's logistics policies.
